State Representative David Cook (R-8) announced today that he has sponsored and introduced a bill, HB 2239, that will help promote growth in the county by allowing older existing planned developments to be updated and modified to meet current building needs and to remain compliant with existing water planning safeguards in place to protect the citizens of Pinal County.
"We need to continue moving Pinal County forward in a responsible way for growth while balancing our water availability for the future," said Representative Cook. "I am pleased with the proposed solutions that are being brought forth from the bi-partisan ad-hoc committee I chaired in the fall of 2019. My colleague, Representative Roberts, ran this legislation last year but it did not make it through due to the shortened session resulting from the COVID pandemic – I'm pleased to help see that it now receives full consideration."By accepting you will be accessing a service provided by a third-party external to https://ilovesantanvalley.com/
